The white walls and blue tiles on the stone slabs, the bridges and flowing streams, the dangling foot buildings, the fusion of the essence of the Three Gorges culture, the BaBa wind and Chu charm, the present, and past of the gorge, at a glance.

13:45 Optional shore excursion - The "Ship Lift" Adventure. This is the once-in-a-life experience by getting involved in-person with the ship lifting process at the Dam. With the Three Gorges ship lift, 1,000-ton ships can "ride the elevator" to overturn the dam.  Highly recommended!

14:30-17:00 Three Gorges Dam walking tour.   Transfer from the pier to a tour bus via the Xiling Yangtze River Bridge to the double-lane, five-stage locks on the north shore and visit the locks at the middle bulkhead. Then drive to the Three Gorges Dam tourist area and visit the altar ridge to see the dam model and panoramic view of the dam. Then proceed to the south bank spillway dam and visit the downstream longitudinal cofferdam. Return to the cruise ship after about 2.5 hours.

08:30-11:00  Optional excursion on small boats to the Goddess Stream is offered.  Surrounded by precipitous mountains, the stream is hiding in a deep valley. The primitive landscape is fortunately well preserved with abundant natural scenic beauty with bamboos, birds, flowers, caves, and rocks.

15:30-18:00 Dock at Fengjie and disembark for a tour of the White Emperor City.  The White Emperor City is located on the Yangtze River's northern bank in Qutang Gorge. It is the best place to see the "Kui Men and the World." Famous poets such as Li Bai, Du Fu, Bai Juyi, Liu Yuxi, Su Shi, Huang Tingjian, Fan Chengda, Lu You, etc. have all climbed the White Emperor and visited Kui Men. The city is also known as the "City of Poetry." The picturesque scenery of Baidi City is full of historical relics.

18:30-21:00  Optional to watch the magic show of the "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms," the story of a famous general saving his emperor's family in the wars.  

21:00 This evening features the ship crew's cabaret with their performce of costume shows, magic shows, traditional Sichuan Opera, and the magical Mask Changing.

Shore Excursion Option 1

10:00-12:30  Adventure to the Fengdu Ghost City.  This place used to be a burial area with scores of temples and shrines and a small ancient town. It got submerged underwater because of the Three Gorges Dam construction. The city has become a few islands. The attraction called "Gate of Hell" remains above the water.

Shore Excursion Option 2

9:30-18:00  Mt. Wuling Great Rift Valley hiking. The valley is a human wonder formed by karst landforms. The core area of the Great Rift Valley is an original ecological canyon of karst landform about 10 kilometers long. Surrounding the canyon, there are mountains, ridges, steep walls standing on top of each other like a knife and axe, holding the rift valley tightly in your arms; in the canyon, there are mountains, gorges, forests, springs, waterfalls, cliffs, caves, pools, and streams. , Pits and seams in one, all year round, waterfalls splash, streams flow, green grasses and flowers blooming!
