When night falls, the only thing above is the stars, while the incredible land of the surrounding hills is absolutely silent ...

Sleeping on the Great Wall for one night? With Great Wall Adventure Club, it is guaranteed to happen and that's how we stand out from the competition.
We have three camping sites located at Gubeikou, Jiankou and Huanghuacheng. Each site is equipped with camping facilities and gears including tents, sleeping bags and mattresses. You won't need to bring your own equipment unless you want to use your own.
Eating is another important part of your 2-day trip. We want to showcase what the geniune Chinese food should be. We have chosen the restaurants on the road who cook heathly food for you, particularly in the restaurant at Huanghuacheng where you will be served organic poultry and vegetables that are raised and planted in their own yards.
"The entire expedition was AMAZING! The first day we hiked a "wild" section of the wall, which we preferred as we're always looking for a more authentic, less touristy experience. For our sleeping accommodations, we hiked down from the wall (about 45 minutes) to pick up sleeping bags, sleeping pads and a tent, then hiked back up to one of the crumbling towers. My favorite moment of the entire hike might have been sitting on the corner of a crumbling watchtower, looking up at the stars, sharing a beer with my wife and two people who I had just met that day and simply being in that moment on the Great Wall. So amazing.
Overall we were extremely happy with the hiking, sleeping arrangements (in a watch tower!!), our guide, the food, the experience, everything! I would highly recommend Great Wall Adventures to anyone looking to get more out of their Great Wall experience. "

"We did a two day hike along the Wall with Great Wall Adventures. We also camped the night in a tent in one of the watchtowers along the wall. Along with the hike to Macchu Pichu, it was one of the most impressive experiences we've ever had. The Wall exceeds expectations and words won't do it justice. Truly amazing.
The hiking was sometimes quite demanding, and we don't recommend it for beginners but it's certainly doable if you've done some before and know how to pace yourself and deal with the tricky bits."
